Hoarders Disease or Hoarders Disorder is a chronic mental health condition characterized by the persistent difficulty in discarding possessions, regardless of their actual value, and an overwhelming need to acquire and keep them. This behavior results in excessive clutter that compromises living spaces, causing significant personal distress and functional impairment in daily life.
I will tour your space, ask questions to understand your current Pain Points*, and figure out your ideal preference on making healthy changes! After setting goals, we will jump right into organizing, assigning homes to things, and purging! We will set up systems that are unique to your needs, wants, and habits.
*Pain Points: Many people hold onto items because they carry emotional significance, even if they no longer serve a practical purpose. This is often characterized by emotional attachment to belongings, decision fatigue, time constraints, and a lack of sustainable organizational systems. This struggle is compounded by feelings of guilt, overwhelm, and resistance from household members, leading to a recurring cycle of clutter accumulation and temporary solutions rather than long-term order.
Never. No one can tell you what is important to you. I will help you determine what is truly important to you however. My goal is for you to enjoy your space and belongings in the most optimal and uniquely you way. Purging is often an important step in organizing, but you will have full control over every decision.
By choosing the Platinum Plan, I can help you donate, recycle, or rid the things you do end up deciding to part with.
Nope! You can mentally prepare yourself for impactful improvements to your life, but nothing more needs to be done.
No Cleaning: Ignore what you were taught about guest protocols. It is more helpful for me to see your space as is. Plus, more clutter = bigger transformation potential! My biggest fear in this line of work is showing up to a clients house/business/storage unit just to find everything is already organized and decluttered!
No Buying: Organizing doodads are fun, but often not needed. We’ll tap into our creativity before your wallet.
With our process, we don't aim to buy hundreds of new plastic containers. The Container Store may be at the forefront of your mind when it comes to organizing, however it costs a fortune, and you may find that organizing 'doo-dads' are not needed as we go through our process-- saving you hundreds of dollars!
DECLUTTER. DOWNSIZE. DONATE.
